Six acts announced for Northwest Bank Stage at 2023 Fair
Spencer, Iowa — The Northwest Bank Stage will feature six different quality acts at the 2023 Clay County Fair powered by SMU, September 9-17. This is just a portion of the $180,000 in free entertainment offered to fairgoers.
The fun starts September 9-11 with stand-up comedian and magician, Jared Sherlock. Sherlock is an award-winning illusionist and comic magician. His electric act of modern magic will have audience members engaged and wanting more.
Also, September 9-11 the Beatles tribute band The Britins will return to rock their way at the Fair. This tribute band is like no other, performing hits from the original Fab Four including Love me do and Let it be.
The Eclectic Barn Boys (September 12-14) bring country classics to the Northwest Bank Stage. With compelling and soothing vocals, this quintet has a great stage presence and performing ability.
On September 12-14, Poppa Bear Norton will also take the stage at the Fair. This country duo performs with their own sound of country taking influence from Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, and Waylon Jennings. Wild and fast, this style of country will have you hooting and hollering for more.
Have a laugh with Ali Sultan on September 15-17. A master of observational humor, Sultan’s act is fun, entertaining, and clever. Sultan will share memorable stories that will leave a lasting mark on whoever is in the audience. Sultan is a crowd-pleasing comic that you aren’t going to want to miss.
Closing out the Fair September 15-17 is Sweet Seasons. Michelle Foster brings the sound of Hall of fame inductee, Carole King, back to the stage. You’ll hear King’s hits like It’s Too Late, songs King wrote for other famous artists, like (You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman, and some of King’s work that you may not know of. Make sure to catch this show to reminisce in the sound of Carole King.
