Tesla set to rock Clay County Fair September 9

Spencer, Iowa —The Clay County Fair announces that Tesla will perform as part of the SRG Concert Series in the Grandstand at the 2018 Clay County Fair on Sunday, Sept. 9 at 7:30pm.

Over the course of their thirty-year career, the critically acclaimed iconic hard rock quintet, Tesla, has sold more than 25 million albums and performed to sold out crowds across the world. The band’s journey kicked into high gear with 1986’s platinum-certified debut, Mechanical Resonance, which solidified them as a household name. With signature anthems such as “Love Song,” “Signs,” What You Give,” “Modern Day Cowboy,” and more, the band remains a mainstay in rock music today.

“As always, our goal with Grandstand concerts at the Fair is to provide something for everyone,” said Fair CEO Jeremy Parsons. “We know this great band – which has been requested by many over the past several years – will create a powerful night of music for our rock fans.”

An opening act for this concert will be announced later this spring.

Tickets will go on sale Friday, March 2 at 10:00am. Prices are $40 (general admission stage front standing), $35 (reserved Grandstand seating), and $30 (general admission bleacher seating).
