Fairgrounds open at 7:00am daily
Public access to the Fair is available during the following times at the following gates:
- Gate A – 7:00am-11:00pm (Historic Gate)
- Gate C – 7:00am-11:00pm (4th Avenue West)
- Gate D – 7:00am-11:00pm (Sacred Heart)
- Gate E – Open 24 hours (11th Avenue West)
- Gate G – 7:00am-11:00pm (West 18th Street)
Most buildings and exhibits are open from 9:00am-8:00pm (Sept. 10-17) and 9:00am-6:00pm (Sept. 18).

Outdoor farm machinery and ag equipment exhibits are open from 9:00am-6:00pm
GoldStar Amusements Midway opens at 10:00am (Sept. 10, 11, 16-18) or 4:00pm (Sept. 12-15).

Advance adult admission tickets are valid for regular Fair-time admission on any day of the 2022 Clay County Fair. Please note that admission discounts are available at the entrance gates on several special deal days throughout the Fair’s run; admission pricing may be less expensive if you purchase admission at the gate. No refunds will be given if you purchase advance adult admission tickets and discover you qualify for a discount at the gate
