Homegrown Talent Series
“The World’s Greatest County Fair” is excited to give local entertainers the opportunity to perform in front of our fairgoers as part of the new HOMEGROWN TALENT SERIES on the Central Park Stage, September 13-16.
Performances will be Sunday, September 13 through Wednesday, September 16. The performances – which can be music, dance, drama, etc. – will be limited to 45 minutes to allow for adequate tear-down and set-up between acts.
All performances must be family-oriented and appropriate for all ages of fairgoers.
The Clay County Fair will provide limited sound equipment on each stage as well as a sound technician. Please indicate your needs on the application. No dressing rooms or storage spaces are available.
The goal of the Clay County Fair’s HOMEGROWN TALENT SERIES is to provide local performing artists the chance to perform and to involve as many people as possible in the Fair each year; therefore, these performances are meant for artist exposure and experience. Each performance will be listed in the official Fair program and daily guide. No act will receive financial benefits or any payment from the Clay County Fair.
Clay County Fair policy prohibits performers from soliciting contributions from the audience; however, acts are allowed to sell merchandise pertaining to their performance (CDs, tapes, etc) during the performance only.
Acts are encouraged to send promotional materials with their applications.
If you are selected to perform, you will be contacted by the Clay County Fair regarding performance date and time. Additional arrangements will be made at that time.
